Mike Haimovitz has been a Real Estate Sales Representative with Shaker Realty since 2018. Mike specializes in retail and restaurant leasing and sales as well as office and industrial leasing and investment sales.
Prior to becoming a Realtor, Mike owned and operated his own restaurants for over ten years in both Montreal and Ottawa. Today, he draws on his years of first-hand experience as a restaurant owner and tenant himself to advise his clients. Mike’s time in the restaurant industry instilled in him a commitment to customer service and client satisfaction as well as an understanding of the unique challenges faced by brick-and-mortar business owners.
Mike has represented clients ranging from national franchises to independent operators and investors. He has helped his clients valuate leasing opportunities, negotiate lease agreements, sell their businesses, and acquire and divest of real estate investments.

Adam Shaker officially joined Shaker Realty Ltd. in 2025 after obtaining his Real Estate License. Adam marks the third generation of the Shaker family in Ottawa’s Commercial Real Estate sector, following in the footsteps of his father, Gary Shaker and grandfather, Frank Shaker.
Adam attended Queen’s University, graduating with a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning in 2020, He studied land use planning and real estate investment.
Following his degree, he worked for four years at an international real estate company, providing analytical and research skills in commercial real estate valuations with a focus on land/development properties.
Adam is excited to bring his background to the commercial sales and leasing environment alongside his father and to continue the core values and principles of service, transparency and integrity at Shaker Realty Ltd.
